Although she studied journalism in college and then first began her career as an in-house graphic designer in the more traditional marketing space, she's since picked up anything that life has put down before her, including web development/design, email marketing, social media advertising, and campaign reporting and analytics. To say she's a fast learner would also be misleading — at her core, Joanna just thoroughly enjoys finding solutions to problems and expanding her toolkit to do so more effectively each time.

Joanna first dabbled in web design and HTML/CSS when Geocities and Angelfire were still a thing. Nowadays, she works primarily in the latest and greatest platforms, WordPress and Webflow, and has experience in other popular builders (such as Squarespace or Wix) and proprietary content management systems.

Joanna's work is driven by best practices for mobile-first design, strategic subject lines, and an innate desire to optimize for the best results in the marketing metrics that matter to you, whether its product orders, website traffic, or event attendance. She's familiar with builders such as MailChimp or Klaviyo, and has experience writing HTML code for emails as well.
